At a recent tournment where team players were drawn from a pool; I was given one player to make a doublette team. After I had started to play the organization admin announced on the speaker that I had a extra player who had arrived late.
Question. As I had started and played 4 balls of the first end how would you insert this player. Kill the two balls of the team captain, wait for start of next end to start them to play or apply how you feel is best for the team<
I did the last, as I was with a jack blocked from the left and being a left handed player, I decided to give the last ball to the new righthanded player... of course we only played 6 balls (3 of lead 2 capt and 1 new player)
Is there any rule or it is the administration or judgement of the team captain.

I would say that Article 33 of the Official Rules applies here. The new player can only be accepted into a team at the start of the next end.
