For all it's worth:
the exact name of the Junior World Championships is: The Pétanque World Championships, Youngsters.
I know, in 2005 in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, it was called the Junior World Championships. Maybe calling it - junior- rather than - youngters attracted more spectators!
