I just spend my weekly game playing 4 player, 3 cochennet, cutthroat style Petanque. Out of bounds,too. While the purists may cringe at the thought, I encourage everybody to try it. For me, open in nature, it was extreme fun and competitive. The possibilities are endless, and the score is as close as your skill level and your ability for mathematics.
