Does anybody know of any software that is capable of coping with the administration of a petanque league? Most sports have just two set of results such as Won or Lost plus how many goals for and against.
In a petanque league we need Won or Lost, how many games plus how many points.

I like your service very much. I have started a small site (which you can find on multimania.com/piedstanques/sommaire.htm. By the way there are only 7 pages and 6 are empty, but it's important to try !) with the name of my club and the address in Leuze (in the South of Belgium, near the French border, not far from Lille)but the number of your cards impressed me very much. So I'm going to start on another kind of page with ads including pétanque players and pictures of local and artists. + photographs of my players (we are about 60).
Bye ! and thanks for your site

The opponents' side won the last end and so threw the cochonnet. A player on our side threw the first boule, contrary to the order stated in Article 16. What is supposed to be the consequence of this act, null boule or pick up the boule and play it at his turn? I haven't seen that covered in the rules.

Hi Roger
If someone could tell me exactly how this works I can make an online-solution here at petanque.org. It may them be linked to the clubs-database, so that only club-owners may edit the data.
But I need a very good explanation how it works!
I do not know of any software that do this, but it sounds like a fairly easy task with a database and some basic programming skill.
Cheers,

Until recently, the rules stated that the cochonnet must be made of wood. A few years ago the international federation approved the new plastic VMS cochonnet, changing the rules slightly.
