Please post your ideas on how we can integrate flickr into petanque.org in as best a way as possible.

Why not starting a new group on Flickr, with the name "petanque.org" ?
Then we'll have an own pool of pictures from p.org-readers, besides of all other pictures from any other people, that are just marked with 'petanque'.
Also: why not using an additional tag "petanque.org"?

All pic's from/around boulecourts in the p.org-pool should be added to the map! Then, within that pool, we'll get a collection of the terrains.

FLICKR is an ideal tool for Petanque.Org

It allows for high quality images AND up to 1 1/2 minutes of video!!! Think of all of the petanque "lessons" and shots and close pointing we can put into it...

The important detail is to label each photo accurately (carreau in Michigan; close pointing in New York etc etc) and to organize them into proper "sets"

a "set" or "group" in FLICKR is basically a folder within your Flickr Account which can describe a sub-set of photos/videos...

I have a Flickr PRO account (it is pretty cheap, maybe $30 a year or something like that) and it allows me unlimited uploads and unlimited sets of photos.

What I do is to import the image data from flickr, and display the data here on petanque.org. In that way I can add functions that does not exist on flickr, and we may still use all the power of flickr..

I am planning to group the pictures by date, photographer, petanque club, and perhaps something else as well.

And i'll add a method to vote for pictures, and mark them off as spam.
Anything else I have missed?
