Recently when a player threw their boule with a palm up release (like bowling), there was a challenge on it and a response that the traditional or "proper" underhand throw is not stipulated in the rules.
So, can a player throw with the palm up if they desire?
thanks

No problem as regards to the rules, but in a technical way it is not very recommendable and you will not have enough control. Underhand is much better and let slip the boule very well along the bottom of your fingers. That is very important!
