Hello fellow Petanquers ,
I have been playing now for nearly five years ,I consider
my self a good allround player but in my team games i have wandered
into the job of shooter , which i enjoy greatly . the big question
is ,should i get softer balls as i am tending to shoot more and more
often but I seem to do fine with the hard pointing balls i have at
present how much of a difference would soft ones make, Boule can be
costly things so this is a decision i want to get right.......
All the best Dave.

This appears to be a comprehensive site for those involved in petanque, however we are searching for intoductory info regarding an outline of the game, the set up, rules and scoring. We would appreciate any information, or direction to a site which will suit beginners, who are just wanting to go and have a fun game.
Thanks
Kim
