I got this question, and as I do not have an answer - does any of you? If so -please respond!

I already play Petanque but, quite recently, I introduced a visitor from
Southern India
to the game. He has become extremely keen, so much so that we are purchasing
him
a set of boule to take back with him.
My question to you is, Is there an equivalent of the BPA located in India?
If so, do
you have any details that I could pass onto him?

to engage with a canadian club

India is not a member of the FIPJP, and that probably means there is no Indian petanque federation (not that I would know for sure, have never been there). Send your visitor a few more sets of boules instead, so he can start one.

I lived in South India for many years, but have never come across Petanque either in the South or central India, whether they play it in Parkistan or in the North I don,t know. I would be very interested in knowing which part of India your visitor ws from and whether I could contact him?
