If team mistakenly agrees on closest boule, is it binding?

I think you should ask yourself what would happen if you would call the referee. He will just measure and conclude that team A holds the point. In my view, agreements between teams are not binding. The referee does not know about these agreements and can never know who to believe. Although breach of these agreements may be percieved as bad behaviour, the are allowed.

When team A agrees that team B's boule is holding the point, and play continues, but then when all boules are played in that end (mene), measuring determines that team A's boule actually holds the point. When team A initially agreed that team B held the point, did team A then yield the point, or does the actual measurement on the ground control which team actually has the point, regardless of what was said earlier?
