This is the most difficult site to navigate I have ever visited! It does not have any info either. Where was petanque invented? What did the first boule look like? What a joke.
P.S. I don't want to give you a hug!

If this is a general problem it must be adressed. Thank you for bringing it up.
Could those of you that have comments on this please give your feedback on this issue, and we'll resolve it as soon as possible. What is missing at petanque.org, and what is just plain stupid?
Yours

I am wondering one thing about this posting form: "E-mail (will not be readable by spam-robots)".
Anyway seems that the e-mails can be well read by anyone on the messages, also spam-robots.

We use a system that transcodes the e-mail into a javascript that is not readable by humans or spambots.
It only looks like an e-mail address when it is displayed in the web browser.
If you have a look in the source code for this page (select "view source" in your browser) you will not see any e-mail adresses.
As an example, our contact adress is written out like :
1%25%36%34%25%36%64%25%36%3

Interesting, I didn't look at the source code first. Maybe it works well, even if I can mark the address with my mouse and copy it? Isn't it anyway pretty easy to program a robot to go round this kind of protection? Someone surely will, if it becomes commonly used.
Other good way is converting the addresses into images and leaving the mailto:-link away, though also this can be cracked by using a program that can recognize text from images. Maybe the most secure robot protection is putting the addresses behind a form that asks a simple question. Or hanging all the spammers to the nearest tree... ;)
