Philippe Quintais online

Philippe Quintais , by many hailed as the best petanque-player in the world , is now online with his very own homepage. The site is maintained by Lionel Zanet, the man behind boulistenaute.com

Here is a shot bio on Quintais, for those of you that do not know everything about him already:
8 times world champion triples: 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2002,2003.

4 times world champion precison shooting.
2 times French champion indiviuals (tête-à-tête): 1988, 2001.
French champion doubles: 1999.
2 times French champion mixed: 1993, 1994.
Winner of many French Nationals.

At this moment Philippe Quintais (Philippe I) is the best petanque player in the world. But he never won a French championship for triples. That's why he "moved", with Philippe Suchaud, to Nice (the club DUC). But he has to wait one year, because in France it's not allowed to participate in a French championship with two transferred player together. So, next year he will participate with the Philippe II and maybe conquer at last the French title for triples.

In the meantime, Quintais is still the president of his "former" club
Hanches, near Chartres.
