Dutch championships for women and youth and qualification match World championship for seniors 2001

National Cup winners, Frank Schepers, Ferdinand Wiese and Jan van de Bosch, will represent The Netherlands at the World championship 2001 in Monaco

In the qualification best-of-five-match in Leidschendam (near The Hague) on Sunday 10th of June between the winners of the National Cup and those of the National League, the Cup winners Frank Schepers, Ferdinand Wiese and Jan van de Bosch beat the League winners Marco and Huib van Saane and Jelle Venema in four games: 13-7, 10-13, 13-0 and 13-5.

The Dutch championship for women, also in Leidschendam, was a victory for Donna Vonck and Anouk and Manon van Loon. They won the final match against Brigitte Schouten, Goof Beekmans and Joke van Nunen (world championship participants in 2000) in three games: 8-13, 13-2 and 13-5. The last game ended in a magisterial way with two carreaus on iron by Anouk, at a distance of ten meters!

Championship for juniors: Hans van der Veen, Rick Goedbloed and Navin Koebeer.
Championship for cadets: Reinhardt van Aken, Tomas Broeren and Jim van Loon.
Championship for minimes: Fouad Ahabad, Sven van Loon and Jordie Reinier.
