Bob de Vroom, Pierre Thèse-Lassus and Junior de Jong won the Dutch Boule d'Or 2000 This weekend, in Asten, in the south of the Netherlands, took place the final weekend of the competitition so-called Boule d'Or. In fact, the Boule d'Or is the competition for the National Cup for triples (there is also the National League for the Dutch championship - this competitition is also for triples, but these triples should consist of players of the same club).
The Boule d'Or final, a best of five match, was won by Bob de Vroom, Pierre Thèse-Lassus and Junior de Jong. The runners-up were Patrick Tuaux, Marty van Nunen and Toon van Alebeek, the Dutch indoor champions 2000.
On sunday 4th of juin the winners of the Boule d'Or have to play a final match (also a best of five) against the winners of the National League for the qualification for the world championship in Portugal
