The 4th of June was the final day of the Dutch Championships for ladies and youth. With also the qualification match for the World Championship for triples.

The winners of the National League, Jan Danen, Mark Helffer and Issa Agzoul, beat the winners of the Boule d'Or competition, Bob de Vroom, Pierre Thèze-Lassus and Junior de Jong, in three straight games: 13-5, 13-7 and 13-7. Danen, Helffer and Agzoul will represent The Netherlands for the third time in succession at the World Championship for triples in Faro in Portugal.

Brigitte Schouten, Joke van Nunen and Goof Beekmans are the new Dutch lady champions. In Helmond, in the south of The Netherlands, they beat their opponents Angelique Houg, Jannie Houg and Jannie van Aggelen in two games: 13-3 and 13-3. Schouten, Van Nunen and Beekmans are the Dutch representatives at the Ladies World Championship in Hyères in France.

Hans van de Veen, Maurice Schapers and Rick Goedkoop won the Dutch title for junior-players between 15 and 18 years. In the best of free final they beat Maarten Kerkhoff, Marcel Hazenberg en Richard Zuiderland, the favourite team that played at the Youth World Championship in Thailand last year, in two games: 13-7 and 13-9. Van de Veen, Schapers and Goedkoop are the Dutch players at the European Youth Championship in Liège in Belgium at the end of this month.
