When playing Petanque, it is vital to know the score. This Scoreboard Shirt (adapted from a Bocce Scoreboard shirt I've seen) will make it easier for my fellow players to keep track of the score at all times

By Jeff Widen.
I drew a design on the computer and printed it to an Iron-Transfer sheet and put it on a nice quality t-shirt. Then I stitched two pieces of velcro (the soft pieces) to either side of the scoreboard, and put the "hook" side of sticky velcro on the backs of two metal buttons (they look like boules).
They start at zero and I move them up the velcro strips as the score changes. I only needed 0 through 12 because 13 is the end of the game. Now, whenever someone needs to know the score they simply look in my direction.
