We have received a picture of the french model Laetita Casta playing petanque. And we are - of course - hoping for more contributions.
If anyone can tell us more about where this is etc. please tell us. And if you have information about other celebreties that play petanque - please inform us about this as well. Perhaps we can make a secion about famous players?

On Saturday 19.05.2012 there is Centrope Cup tournament – triples and on Sunday 20.05.2012 there is Open Championship of Wrocław – doubles.

On Sunday 19 February 2012, I shot a boule and it made a metallic ping and broke perfectly in half when my bloues hit it. It seems that there had been a crack in the boules that had allowed some water to corrode the weakness. Is is a JB competition boule.
Byron Putman discovered petanque some two years ago and fell in love, head over heels. Then decided to analyze every angle of the game, including its development in the USA. He started clubs in Palm Springs, CA and in Lake Oswego, OR. And wrote a book about it, aptly named "Pétanque - The greatest game you never heard of!"
